Summary of 2018 at a glance..

Hello 2018, before you ascend on your last digit, I’d like to thank all the odds I’ve gone thru and thank all which came as a gift that helped me to fight against all odds.

Not to really mention names of whom it may concern, many times its when you go thru the darkest storm, you know who you can go to and count on when things gets really ugly but its all these people that turn the ugly in humanity into a beautiful one. Such gems are hard to come by, may 2019 be better year for me, and may 2018 be lessons I learnt to prioritize things even better. Although I wouldn’t say I’ve been an awesome human being all these while, we always learn from mistakes cuz we gotta admit that human makes mistakes, and what matters is you learn from it and pick yourself up from there.

The very first Christmas that gives me the lift in life..

Was it Christmas that makes me think differently about life or was it the power of giving gave me the strength to believe all the good in whatever good we do for people? Overheard conversations like, how love shouldn’t be expressed over the form of presents or things like giving presents is not mandatory cuz there’s no point giving presents to each other where we’re actually feeding the retailers their sales volume and they actually benefit from our purchase instead of our pockets O.O hahahahaha! *laughs

Man, yes it’s true to a certain extent. I agree that giving presents to one another during Christmas isn’t mandatory. However, I beg to differ when people say that we’re actually contributing to retailer’s commission pocket and give the benefit to them instead of our own pockets. Cuz why? Christmas only happen once in a year, although it can become a hefty sum of expense when the number of people you’re giving becomes massive, and it’s undeniable for the fact that you’d feel guilty if you give to this person and not that person so you end up having to buy one more extra one for someone else who’s not on your list to distribute presents, but I’d like to relate Christmas to just like another Chinese new year, but instead of giving red packets, you give presents. It is of course not a custom to give, but I always think that it’s the sense of fulfillment you get when people is grateful to you and the kind of happiness you paint onto their face when they receive your present. I mean, you know that feeling where people can’t thank you enough and feel really really happy when they open your presents? It’s simply priceless, it’s sucha blessing to feel happy that you bring happiness to someone else out there. And I guess, this is the whole gist of Christmas, the whole thing about Christmas is to celebrate the joy of giving isn’t it? And honestly, why would you wanna feel that it’s so taxing to give presents only twice a year, one is during someone’s birthday, and one is during Christmas. What’s more, not saying you have to give EVERYONE, but maybe…. selectively if you feel the strain on you financially, it shouldn’t be pressurizing your financial health, but just wanna make a point that a little something also can make someone happy because of the thoughts you have when you pick even a little something for someone.

Yeah, just some thoughts I wanna pen down for Christmas, thought that being selfless is priceless 🙂

This year Christmas was quite an up and down for me, cuz there was an ordeal I’ve to deal with, before Christmas even happen. But thankfully, everything has gone back to pieces over the Christmas. See, it’s always you treasure things even more when you lose something/even about to lose something so dear to you.

Anyway, let’s share some photos before everything becomes so wordy and so boring. In case it becomes meaningless to read all words, here’s some photos… some LIFE!!!

Presents before unwrapping..! Although the Black Under Armour bag isn’t wrapped, but I’m very certain Uncle used his heart to choose this present for me, because he saw the bag I brought to Korea, he probably guessed that I’d like this bag, so I’m still very thankful because of all the reason behind this bag (literally the story behind it even tho he didn’t bring across the message over words, but I always appreciate the thought behind everything nevertheless)

So…. do I have anyone who wanna witness what presents I’ve gotten?

Okay in case people get the wrong idea of me, I’m actually specially featuring this because of the story behind this as well. During the family gathering, the person behind this present told me this, although I don’t have much money with me, but I just wanna let you have one more present to be opened during this Christmas, I know nothing behind cosmetics, but… I walked into the shopping mall, having no knowledge of cosmetics at all, gave a description to the sales girl “ 25 year old, lady, $200 budget, cosmetics, please recommend me what to buy.” HAHAHAHAHAA I laughed at how silly and muddle-headed this person could be, but WOW, that’s really a huge leap of faith to come to this. Thank you, thank you so so soooooooo much. Although you lose face when you go to Chanel and told them $200 budget and the salesgirl tell you “sorry leh you go another section ya, here don’t have $200 de leh… minimum also $400 leh” LOL! THIS IS SO FUNNY PLEASE. Eh hey, please, I’m already thankful beyond words. Thanks for the story behind it, I’m so so grateful. Thank you for buying something I wouldn’t have bear to buy for myself all the time. YSL!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVEEEEEEEEEE IT, love it even more when the lipstick is engraved with my name, awwww♥♥♥

Okay, everything is of so much relevance to me… Ohmygoddddd. It’s till an extend, how can people even go so right when I already have almost everything I need, they still can find something I need and do not have, HAHAHAHAHA okay, thank you so so sooooooo much. I can’t really express whatever in me, I wish I have the ability to be so thankful to each and every family member here. Thanks for planting me with so much love whenever I feel so, so, soooo little about my own life. Thanks for doting on me when I felt as if I’m all alone….. I’m so very thankful beyond words could ever describeeee ♥♥♥♥♥

Okay, I’m sorry if the whole paragraph here is stucked with the “thank you(s)” and “thankful” words it becomes so repetitive and boring. Let’s move on!!

Unwrapping time!!!!!! Boxing day came early, oppps.

The ultimate naughty boy!!!! Looking as cheeky as ever! He, as ever, looking very happy because it’s always Christmas that the kids receives everyone’s contribution to them!!! So blessed hur? HAHA!

Look at the one on top the stairs, looking very not amazed cuz he have not much presents so decided to look at his ipad to make himself feel better… LOL!!!!!! hahahahahah ok kidding, that’s just a guy thing LOL. Look at how Chian Wen is so happy with her present too!! Christmas is sooooooooooooo soooooo sooooooooo good!
